Key Accountabilities

Ensure adherence to client contractual agreements by implementing and executing logistics operations and plans in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics data.

Analyze regulatory standards to support informed decision-making and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.

Receive and process Booking Order Forms (BOFs) from Logistics Operations Section Heads (OSH) to arrange shipment bookings (air/sea) for specified materials, quantities, and timelines from Port of Loading (POL) to Port of Discharge (POD).

Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and steamship lines (SSLs).

Negotiate optimal rates and terms in line with the Rate Target Policy (RTP) set by the Logistics Operations Manager (LOM).

Prepare and issue Shipping Declaration Forms (SDF) and Insurance Declaration Forms (IDF) for all air and sea shipments before dispatch.

Collect and verify shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading) from suppliers or directly from SSLs/3PLs.

Execute importation procedures for project materials at the destination port.

Coordinate with clients to ensure accurate and timely issuance of importation documents.

Follow up on payment requests and ensure the timely settlement of invoices for logistics service providers at the destination.

Prepare and submit weekly statistical reports on shipping activities.

Maintain and update the Shipping Quotations Form (SQF) to reflect current market rates and trends.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations.

Strong knowledge of logistics principles, Incoterms, and international trade regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred.

Familiarity with CargoX and Nafeza platforms is highly desirable.

Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
-
Strong problem-solving and follow-up capabilities to ensure issue resolution and process completion.
