Position Overview
The Export Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and business development for power and distribution transformers across Africa, GCC, and European markets. The role involves identifying potential clients, managing existing relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring sales targets are met through effective market coverage and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve business targets in Africa, GCC, and Europe.
- Identify and build relationships with EPC contractors, utilities, distributors, and industrial clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess competitive positioning.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of business with clients and partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics, and finance) to ensure timely project execution and delivery.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote the company’s products and capabilities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements in the assigned regions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Proven track record of managing sales in Africa, GCC, and European markets.
- Strong understanding of transformer design, specifications, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across assigned regions.
