Export Sales Executive

Job Title: Export Sales Executive (International Lead Conversion)

Department: Export Sales
Reporting To: Export Sales Manager

Required Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma (Engineering or Commerce preferred)
• 1–4 years of experience in export sales / international inside sales / B2B exports
• Proven experience in converting export leads into confirmed orders
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms and international payment terms (TT, LC, Advance)

Preferred Industry Experience

• Rubber, Plastics, Automotive, or Engineering components
• Exposure to US, Europe, Middle East, or African markets

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle International Enquiries

• Respond to export enquiries from websites, trade portals, exhibitions, and referrals
• Understand customer requirements (country, product use, quantity, pricing feasibility)
• Convert enquiries into RFQs, samples, trials, and confirmed orders
• Achieve assigned sales and conversion targets

2. Customer Communication

• Communicate with overseas customers via email, calls, and virtual meetings
• Understand technical and commercial needs
• Present company products, certifications, and export capabilities

3. Quotation & Order Closure

• Coordinate internally for costing and quotation preparation
• Share quotations with Incoterms, MOQ, lead time, and payment terms
• Regular follow-ups to secure Purchase Orders

4. Lead & Follow-up Management

• Maintain export lead pipeline and follow-up tracker
• Ensure quick response to customer queries
• Reduce lead ageing and improve conversion rate

5. Order Handover

• Confirm commercial terms clearly before processing the order
• Coordinate with documentation and logistics teams for smooth execution

6. Market Feedback

• Collect feedback on pricing and competitors
• Share market insights with management
