External Marketer LTC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven External Marketer to promote our long-term care facility and build strong referral networks within the community. This role is responsible for increasing census through strategic outreach to hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community organizations.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources including hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and assisted living communities

  • Conduct regular in-person visits to healthcare providers and community partners

  • Promote facility services, programs, and specialties to drive admissions

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market

  • Coordinate and attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach initiatives

  • Track referral activity and maintain accurate records in CRM systems

  • Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly census growth targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)

  • 2+ years of marketing, sales, or business development experience (healthcare preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute services

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
