Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Eyecare Professional and become a vital part of delivering exceptional eye health and vision care services. We are looking to add to our Optical, Patient Relations, Technician, and Billing Departments. In these energetic roles, you will engage with patients to provide scheduling assistance, insurance verification, assist with selecting the perfect eyewear, educate patients on maintaining optimal eye health, and be part of their overall care team. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and confident in their eye care journey. Duties

  • Gather information from patients to assist with comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity, eye health, and diagnose potential issues.
  • Assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits their style, needs, and prescription requirements.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care routines, contact lens usage, and preventive health measures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document findings clearly and thoroughly.
  • Support the optical team in managing inventory, lens fitting, and frame adjustments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, explaining treatment options, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive, energetic atmosphere that encourages patient trust and loyalty.
  • These jobs involve standing for extended periods time, brisk walking, and some lifting throughout the day.

Experience

  • Previous experience in medical, optometry, or optical retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and positively.
  • Knowledge of eye care products, contact lenses, and/or optical equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for helping others achieve their best vision health.
  • Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for practicing as an Eyecare Professional is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level roles. Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
