Fabricator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator role in Portland, OR .
Our client is a well-established industry leader known for precision craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal products. Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify light-gauge metal components according to blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, presses, plasma cutters, and other hand/power tools.
• Perform layout, cutting, forming, and fitting of sheet metal and structural parts.
• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality in all fabricated parts.
• Inspect finished workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members, welders, and assemblers to meet production deadlines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or material issues promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience — light gauge experience required.
• Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and fabrication machinery.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tolerances, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop prints.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and precision.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
