Summary

This is a varied role that goes beyond standard assembly; you will be part of the team working on bespoke exhaust builds and high-quality underside restorations. Responsible for the project from start to finish—from the first conversation with the customer to the final weld.

Responsibilities

  • Custom Fabrication: Designing, fabricating, and fitting bespoke exhaust systems tailored to specific vehicle needs.
  • Restoration Work: Performing structural and aesthetic motor vehicle fabrication, including comprehensive underside restorations and rust repairs.
  • Customer Liaison: Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements, offering technical advice, and providing accurate quotes for parts and labour.
  • Precision Welding: Utilising TIG and MIG welding (primarily stainless steel) to produce clean, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound joins.
  • Workshop Support: Assisting with general fabrication tasks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Requirements

  • Welding Expertise: Ideally competent in both Stainless TIG and MIG welding, additional or refresher training can be given.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive exhaust flow and vehicle structural integrity.
  • Communication Skills: Confidence in dealing with customers and managing the quoting process professionally.
  • Mobility: You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have your own transport.
  • Equipment: Ideally, you will have your own tools, though specialist fabrication equipment will be provided.

Salary & Compensation

  • £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (based on experience).
  • Performance-Based Incentive Scheme: We believe in rewarding quality and efficiency. This role features a competitive basic salary supplemented by an incentive scheme designed to reward high-performing team members.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Alternate weeks)
