Facade Designer

Job Title: Experienced Facade Designer (Aluminum & Glazing)

Job Location: Karachi, Pakistan

We're seeking an experienced Facade Designer to create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum and glazing facades. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facade design, proficiency in relevant software, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare CAD shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum and glazing facades

- Develop and maintain facade design standards and specifications

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent and project requirements are met

- Conduct quality control reviews of drawings and documents

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in facade design

Requirements:

- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in facade design, preferably with aluminum and glazing systems

- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AAMA)

- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and facade performance analysis tools

- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient facade systems

- Certification in facade design or related field (e.g., CWG, FMP)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs270,000.00 per month
