Facilities Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of building facilities within our portfolio. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of MEP systems, compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering cost-effective solutions to enhance asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety, etc.).
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repair and maintenance works.
• Monitor and optimize energy consumption to support sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and asset performance analysis.
• Support facility inspections, audits, and implementation of HSE procedures.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in budgeting, procurement, and cost control for facility operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BMS, and CAFM software.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
