Role Description

• Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for sub-contractors & services, including security, parking, cleaning, catering, maintenance, and so on
• Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff, including cleaning, maintenance, grounds, and security
• Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Allocating and managing teams’ schedules between buildings & supervising the multitasking overlap that might occur.
• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards
• Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments
• Helping businesses to relocate to new offices and to make decisions about leasing
• Drafting reports and making written recommendations.
• Monitor & Supervise “hard facilities management services” includes anything to do with the physical building, or “soft facilities management services”. That is more people-related.
• Liaise with internal employees, contractors to plan work schedules for carrying out site work.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a facilities engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
• High computer literacy, including property management software/CRM experience.
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent presentation skills
• Excellent English, written and spoken
