Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview
DIAMOND BILLIARD PRODUCTS is looking for a reliable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility and equipment running strong. This role focuses on the overall upkeep of the building and supporting equipment throughout our manufacturing facility. We’re not looking for someone who just waits to be told what’s broken — we want someone who notices things, takes initiative, and fixes them before they become bigger problems.

If you’ve worked maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting, that’s a big plus. BIG PLUS if you have experience with:

• Mechanical systems, Air compressors or air lines.
• Basic machinery maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Basic plumbing experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting or 3-phase electrical systems

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• General building and facility maintenance. Basic plumbing and fixture repairs. Replacing lighting, hardware, and shop components. Facility touch-ups and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
• Supporting equipment upkeep.
• Assisting with machine-related issues as needed.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment including scissor lifts, industrial lifts, and field service tools to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely.
• Collaborate with team members on analysis of system failures and develop strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
• Creating and maintaining a work order system.

Skills:

• Experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of 3 phase electric and electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage.
• Some knowledge of HVAC/R systems with the ability to perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation, talking with 3rd party companies and teamwork.
