Civil Technician- Maintenance

Job Title: Civil Technician – Maintenance

Job Purpose:

To support the maintenance and repair of buildings, infrastructure, and facilities, ensuring all civil works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, roads, and other structures to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist in planning and executing repair and maintenance projects for civil structures.
• Prepare work orders, material requirements, and cost estimates for maintenance jobs.
• Monitor ongoing maintenance works to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform minor repairs, patching, plastering, concreting, or finishing works as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, including reports, progress updates, and safety checklists.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Assist engineers in evaluating structural conditions and recommending preventive maintenance plans.

Qualifications:.

• Knowledge of building materials, construction, and maintenance techniques.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong problem-solving and practical skills for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and repair instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Physically capable of performing site inspections and minor repair work.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in building or facility maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in civil repair, finishing works, or preventive maintenance is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR2,500.00 per month
