Facilities Manager

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Maintenance

  • Oversee daily maintenance of school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, hostels (if applicable), playgrounds, and common areas
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, lifts, generators, CCTV, and water systems
  • Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs and AMC contracts

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety norms, fire safety regulations, and CBSE/local authority guidelines
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Maintain records of safety audits, fitness certificates, and approvals
  • Handle emergency preparedness and disaster management procedures

Housekeeping & Campus Management

  • Supervise housekeeping, sanitation, and gardening staff
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across the campus
  • Monitor waste management and eco-friendly practices

Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of school assets, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Monitor usage, upkeep, and replacement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Assist in procurement planning related to facilities and maintenance

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for facilities support
  • Address staff and parent complaints related to infrastructure and facilities
  • Support school events, examinations, and special programs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Facility Management / Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a school or institutional setting
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, vendor management, and maintenance systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹28,000.00 per month
