Facilities Project Manager

Lebanon Valley College seeks a skilled and collaborative facilities project manager to oversee campus construction and renovation projects. Reporting to the director of facilities services, this position manages projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of construction and renovation projects, including design, bidding, construction, and closeout; developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with campus stakeholders; overseeing architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors; monitoring budgets, reviewing invoices and change orders, and providing financial updates; ensuring compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, environmental regulations, and campus safety standards; administering contracts and coordinating permitting and inspections and maintaining project documentation and providing regular status reports to leadership. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered; a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing construction or renovation projects; experience serving as a project manager or in a comparable leadership role; demonstrated expertise in renovation and construction management, site planning, and permitting processes; comprehensive knowledge of building trades and physical plant operations; a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; strong organizational, budgeting, and communication skills; experience in higher education or institutional facilities preferred; and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license is required.
