Maintain Quality and Care as Our Facilities Supervisor

As our Facilities Supervisor, you will ensure that AUS buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained, compliant, and supportive of the school’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of facilities, including maintenance, and groundskeeping

• Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas meet high standards of safety, and functionality

• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and Ministry of Education standards

• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, monitoring performance and cost-effectiveness

• Supervise facilities staff, providing direction, training, and performance feedback

• Support budget development, track expenditures, and recommend cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or operations management (school or institutional setting is a plus)

• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance practices

• Proven leadership and team supervision skills in a multicultural environment

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Fluency in English (Arabic skills are an advantage)
