Facility Manager

Job Title: Facility Manager – Water Theme Park Operations

Location: Calicut

Experience: 5–8 years (Water Park / Hospitality / Large Facility preferred)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) or equivalent

Job Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete maintenance and operation of the water theme park infrastructure, including rides, utilities, STP, WTP, pools, landscaping, and safety systems. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and a safe, enjoyable experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of water rides, wave pools, lazy rivers, filtration systems, and pump rooms.
  • Manage and monitor STP and WTP operations, ensuring water quality standards and pollution control norms are met.
  • Ensure proper functioning of water circulation, chlorination, filtration, and dosing systems.
  • Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all mechanical, electrical, and civil assets.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for AMC, repairs, and statutory inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, pollution control board norms, and local statutory regulations.
  • Maintain records related to water quality reports, chemical usage, energy consumption, and maintenance logs.
  • Lead and supervise technical teams including maintenance staff, operators, electricians, plumbers, and technicians.
  • Manage utilities such as power, water consumption, DG sets, pumps, and HVAC (if applicable).
  • Handle emergency situations such as equipment failures, water contamination, and safety incidents.
  • Support management during audits, inspections, and licensing renewals.
  • Prepare budgets and control costs related to maintenance and utilities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of water theme park operations.
  • Hands-on experience with STP, WTP, pool filtration, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical pumps, motors, pipelines, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental norms, and statutory compliance.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance logs, reports).

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in water parks, amusement parks, resorts, malls, or large hospitality facilities.
  • Exposure to pollution control board inspections and compliance documentation.
  • Experience managing high-capacity water treatment and recycling systems
