Job Summary

IIDRC is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Facility Manager to oversee infrastructure operations, maintenance coordination, vendor management, and institutional facility readiness. The role involves ensuring smooth day to day operations and maintaining a safe, professional environment that supports executive programs, research activities, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operational readiness of training halls, seminar areas, meeting rooms, offices, reception, and common spaces
• Coordinate setup for institutional programs, workshops, and events
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems
• Manage housekeeping, security, and maintenance vendors
• Monitor facility related expenses and assist in budget tracking
• Maintain asset registers and service documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements
• Conduct periodic inspections and report maintenance issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Administration, or related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in facility management, preferably in an educational institution, corporate office, or training environment
• Working knowledge of building maintenance systems
