Facility Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Manager to oversee the seamless operation of our corporate office and premises. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled technician with a strong mandatory background in electrical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment through exceptional property management, vendor coordination, administrative operations, and event support. Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Tamil is essential for effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and local vendors. Key Responsibilities
1. Property & Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the entire facility, including electrical, plumbing, civil, HVAC, and security systems.
  • Ensure 100% power availability through proactive management of DG Units, Electrical Panels, Transformers, and UPS systems.
  • Manage and coordinate with lift maintenance vendors to ensure smooth and safe operation.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues related to plumbing, carpentry, and civil works.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for all critical infrastructure.
2. Administrative & Office Operations:
  • Manage all administrative services, including housekeeping, cafeteria, security, and transportation.
  • Ensure the office facility is operational and issue-free at all times (e.g., seating, desks, lights, AC).
  • Handle space allocation and planning to optimize workplace efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for facility operations.
3. Vendor & Contract Management:
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors for housekeeping, security, electrical, plumbing, AMC services, etc.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
  • Supervise vendor work on-site, monitor performance, and process invoices and payments.
4. Event Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all logistical arrangements for in-office events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Manage setup, seating, audio-visual equipment, power requirements, and breakdown for events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
5. Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations related to electrical, fire, safety, and environmental norms.
  • Act as the point of contact for all facility-related audits.
  • Lead emergency response planning and drills (e.g., fire, evacuation, power failure). Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 12 years of proven experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate office setting.
  • Technical Skills (Mandatory): Multi-Skilled Technician with Electrical expertise as a mandatory skill. Hands-on knowledge of Electrical Panels, DG Units, Transformers, and Lifts. Strong practical knowledge of Plumbing & Civil works. Ability to troubleshoot and provide first-line solutions for technical issues.
  • Managerial Skills: Proven expertise in Property Management, Vendor Management, and Admin Operations. Experience in planning and supporting Event Management.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, Kannada, and Tamil (verbal and written).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. High level of professionalism and integrity. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
