Facility Manager (FM) Soft and Hard

Emirates Hospitality Center (EHC) is looking for an experienced and results-driven Soft & Hard Facilities Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a highly capable professional with a strong background in catering, hospitality, facilities management, and large-scale service operations, with a proven track record of managing both soft and hard FM services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Soft and Hard Facilities Management operations across assigned sites and facilities.
• Develop and implement effective FM strategies, SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
• Supervise cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, pest control, landscaping, and other soft services.
• Oversee MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil works, building maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard of safety, hygiene, functionality, and operational efficiency.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, service providers, and internal departments.
• Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual requirements.
• Control maintenance and operational costs while maintaining service quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, hygiene, and statutory requirements.
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage facility-related budgets, resources, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and develop FM teams, supervisors, technicians, cleaners, and support staff.
• Prepare operational reports, maintenance reports, incident reports, and performance dashboards for management.
• Ensure business continuity and rapid response to facility emergencies and breakdowns.
• Work closely with Catering Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, HR, HSEQ, Finance, and senior management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, preferably within the catering, hospitality, hotel, contract catering, healthcare, or large-scale service industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of both Soft FM and Hard FM operations.
• Proven experience managing large teams and multiple operational sites.
• Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, pest control, waste management, and general facility operations.
• Experience working in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Good understanding of HSE, hygiene, food safety, and facility compliance requirements.
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office and facility management/inventory systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on and commercially minded Facilities Manager who can effectively balance operational excellence, service quality, compliance, manpower productivity, and cost control.

Experience in large-scale catering operations, central kitchens, hospitality facilities, government/military catering, or multi-site contract services will be considered a strong advantage.
