Factory Accountant – FMCG Manufacturing & Trading

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Factory Accountant with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing factory accounts, monitoring production costs, controlling inventory valuation, and ensuring accurate financial reporting related to manufacturing activities.

The candidate must possess strong Cost Accounting knowledge, hands-on factory accounting experience, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory for effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complete factory accounting operations including production accounting and inventory control.
• Perform cost accounting activities such as:
• Product costing
• Standard costing & variance analysis
• BOM and consumption analysis
• Cost allocation and absorption
• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory valuation.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and cost reports.
• Reconcile production data with financial records and ERP systems.
• Support factory management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to factory operations.
• Track wastage, yield variance, and operational performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional certification in Cost Accounting (CMA / ICWA preferred) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Factory Accountant in FMCG Manufacturing industry.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Factory Accounting & Cost Accounting principles.
• Experience working in manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel:
• Pivot Tables & Power Query
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP - Advance Formulas Practical Knowledge
• Data analysis & reporting
• Cost tracking models
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced factory environment.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written).

Preferred Attributes

• Hands-on factory exposure and shop-floor coordination experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage factory finance operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
