Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Factory Manager

As Factory Manager, you will lead and manage the factory team overseeing production, maintenance and engineering services required for end-to-end processing operations of raw materials so that the production plans, associated KPIs and strategic deliverables are achieved as defined through AOP and S&OP processes. Develop and implement a flexible plant organization that is focused on customer service, asset utilization, cost control and capability building by utilizing lean manufacturing systems and processes.

Things you will be doing as a Factory Manager

• Translate company’s operations strategy into a factory operations plan, which are to be implemented with an ongoing drive for enhancing productivity, quality and upholding the highest standards of HSE
• Execute production plans on a timely basis, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting the departmental targets with zero loss mindset
• Drive a continuous improvement culture to deliver stretched targets on OEE, cost, wastages and conformance to plan
• Ensure allocation of resources to facilitate production and support maintenance activities
• Lead site loss analysis to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Effectively & Efficiently maintain and utilize the company resources on-hand in terms of people, Budgets (Revenue & Capex) and assets
• Ensure all legislative & regulatory compliance of the site with respect to Labour laws, HSE, product safety, Security and utilities (Electricity, gas, telephone, etc)
• Supports the effective delivery of training activities to production staff i.e. technical, quality training etc
• To maintain a professional and well-motivated team, and to ensure succession for all key positions
• As a member of the Operations Leadership Team, contribute to the overall strategy of the function
• Lead the factory team to drive quality, EH&S and productivity initiatives through innovation and out-of-the-box thinking

What are we looking for in you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in the Food, CPG or FMCG industries
• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, including maintenance
• Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 Sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards
• Experience of GMP manufacturing, OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, and other related codes and regulations applying to the operation of a food products factory
