Job Purpose
To oversee the resource planning and execution of production activities within the back process and grinding units of the facility while adhering to plant protocols and procedures.
Job Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing schedules, procedures, and resource plans in collaboration with the Production Lead, ensuring alignment with broader production strategy

Drive and own production, material flow, and inventory performance for assigned lines, driving improvements in cost, efficiency, and quality

Proactively plan and implement optimized workforce deployment strategies to meet production demands, while mentoring team members to build operational agility

Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production data against targets, initiating corrective actions to mitigate deviations and proposing improvements to planning models

Act as a key liaison between Production and QHSE teams to proactively resolve raw material and finished product quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement waste reduction initiatives

Lead coordination with Maintenance and Engineering to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing unscheduled downtime and improving equipment reliability metrics

Analyze recurring equipment malfunctions and independently drive root cause analysis, contributing to long-term reliability engineering and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure timely and accurate documentation across production reports, quality records, wastage logs, and equipment history, while leading readiness for internal and external audits

Champion compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant standards across the Back Process & Grinding area, leading periodic reviews and improvements of SOPs

Serve as the area lead on Health & Safety, identifying risks and ensuring implementation of corrective/preventive actions to foster a culture of safety excellence

Drive adoption of best-in-class production practices and automation opportunities, providing insights to leadership for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Minimum Qualifications, Professional Knowledge And Experience

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of experience
