Factory Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed production schedules and manufacturing plans in coordination with the Factory Manager.
  • Monitor factory production progress and ensure adherence to planned schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure the availability of raw materials and components required for production.
  • Analyze production capacity, workload, and manpower requirements to optimize factory operations.
  • Track production performance, identify delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
  • Liaise with engineering, design, and project teams to align production plans with project requirements.
  • Utilize planning software such as Primavera, MS Project, or ERP systems for scheduling and monitoring activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production planning and maintain accurate records for management reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, and material coordination.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Experience in fire protection, fabrication, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
