Family Law Associate Attorney

A boutique family law firm in Hinsdale, IL, is seeking an associate attorney.

This position requires working independently in reviewing, drafting, filing legal documents, communicating with clients, and attending hearings virtually or in the various courts surrounding Chicago, IL (DuPage, Will, Kane, Lake, Cook, etc.).

The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments; would be discrete, and professional, with the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience is required.

Duties include: Consult, review, research, prepare and draft complaints, notices, petitions, motions and responses as well as attend hearings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• admission to the Bar in Illinois
• 1-7 years of experience at family law firm
• knowledgeable in Word, Outlook, Adobe, and court filing systems
• organized, independent, and able to handle a busy caseload
• has reliable transportation to commute to other surrounding counties

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
