Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, knowledge of fabrics and tailoring, and the ability to create stylish, high-quality garments that reflect Kachins’ brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styling techniques to design innovative collections.
• Create sketches, mood boards, and digital designs for client presentations.
• Work closely with the tailoring and production teams to ensure design execution meets luxury standards.
• Develop seasonal collections and bespoke pieces aligned with Kachins’ brand ethos.
• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories in coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, lookbooks, and fashion shows.
• Manage fittings, adjustments, and final garment finishes to ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on fashion trends globally while integrating local preferences for the Mumbai market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• 2–4 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in luxury or bespoke.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and garment construction knowledge.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and tailoring techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers as a merchandiser
• Must be based in Mumbai.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: As per industry standards and Candidate's Experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday (11am to 7:30pm)
