Accountant cum Cost Controller & Operations Support – Restaurant

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant cum Cost Controller to manage restaurant accounting, cost control, inventory, and provide operational support including procurement and supplier coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Handle Accounts Payable, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and monitor cash flows.
• Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and monthly bank statements.
• Handle tax calculations, submissions, and compliance.
• Prepare schedules and documents for internal and external audits.

Cost Control & Inventory

• Monitor cost accounting and operational expenses.
• Track, reconcile, and control inventory (food, beverages, and supplies).

Operations & Procurement Support

• Place purchase orders for restaurant supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for orders, deliveries, and payments.
• Maintain supplier records and documentation.
• Handle AMC contracts, maintenance coordination, and service follow-ups.
• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
