Job Description – Early Years Teacher (Nursery)

Position: Early Years Teacher (Nursery) – Female
Reports to: Campus Head / Head of Early Years

Role Purpose:

To provide a safe, caring, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for nursery students, focusing on their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured play, creative activities, and early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities suitable for nursery-aged children.
• Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and positive social interactions.
• Monitor and assess each child’s progress and development, keeping records and reporting to parents and supervisors.
• Develop age-appropriate learning materials and use play-based strategies to teach early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support the holistic development of each child.
• Organize and participate in events, assemblies, and activities that promote student engagement and school culture.
• Maintain classroom discipline using positive behavior management strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication, progress reports, and meetings.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent early childhood frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Classroom management and child-centered teaching approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or equivalent (Diploma in Early Childhood acceptable).
• Previous experience teaching nursery or early years children preferred.
• Female candidates only (as per institutional requirement).
• Strong spoken and written English skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
