Female IT Support Officer (Evening/Night Shift)

Job Description

We are hiring a Female IT Support Officer (Night Shift) to provide dedicated, on-site IT support to our female employees. The ideal candidate will have solid technical experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to solving IT issues efficiently and respectfully.

Note: This position is specifically intended to support female staff during the evening and night shift, ensuring they receive timely and comfortable access to IT assistance in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for female staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Resolve problems related to logins, printers, application performance, internet connectivity, etc.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS), MS Office, antivirus, and other tools.
• Set up and manage laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Follow IT security protocols such as password policies, access control, and regular data backups.
• Maintain accurate logs of support requests, actions taken, and system updates.
• Work closely with the central IT team for escalations and support continuity.
• Assist in hardware asset tracking, replacement, and inventory control.

Job Requirements

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience:
Minimum 1 to 2 years in an IT support role such as Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Analyst, or Junior IT Officer.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with helpdesk software such as Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar.
• Familiar with routine hardware troubleshooting and device maintenance.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Patient, approachable, and respectful especially when supporting non-technical users.
• Able to work independently and remain productive during evening/night hours.
• Highly organized with good time and task management.

Work Schedule & Location

• Shift: 05:00 PM – 02:00 AM (Evening/Night Shift)
• Location: On-site at Bahria Town Civic Center, Phase 4, Rawalpindi
