Job Title: F&G Instrument Technician Offshore

Location: Ras Laffan

Employment: 1 month

Duty hrs:- 12 hrs/ 6 days

Certfication:- IRATA Level I / COMPEX

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, calibration, and testing of Fire & Gas (F&G) detectors and control systems.
• Perform loop checks, function tests, and maintenance on F&G instruments and panels.
• Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of faults in F&G systems.
• Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities as per project requirements.
• Ensure all instrumentation work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Follow PTW (Permit to Work) and site HSE procedures at all times.
• Maintain proper documentation of test results and calibration data.
• Work under the supervision of the F&G Instrument Supervisor.
• Participate in toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
• Use rope access techniques (IRATA Level I) where required for offshore maintenance tasks.
