YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own regional technical governance for fleet maintenance standards and ensure consistent execution across all sites, depots, and field teams.
• Establish, deploy, and sustain preventive/corrective/seasonal maintenance programs aligned with OEM recommendations and operational milestones (planting/harvest readiness).
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support; lead/coordinate critical repairs and overhauls and ensure repair validation (functional checks, acceptance criteria, test runs).
• Define and enforce end-of-season and long-term storage preservation standards (cleaning, lubrication, corrosion prevention, battery management, fluid strategy, readiness checks) to ensure “ready-for-next-season” condition.
• Govern warehouse operations for fleet assets: secure storage conditions, controlled access, inventory reconciliation, and audit-ready documentation across all locations.
• Implement and manage pest/rodent control programs; own supplier governance (scope, KPI, site visits, monitoring, corrective actions) to prevent damage to wiring harnesses, hoses, and critical components.
• Ensure warehouse security and theft-prevention controls (CCTV, alarms, perimeter, access control) are implemented, functional, tested, and consistently applied.
• Plan and govern inter-regional transfers of heavy equipment: provider qualification, route planning, permits (if required), safe scheduling, and operational continuity.
• Act as accountable owner for Loading & Lashing standards; verify compliance with legal requirements and internal standards through checklists, documentation, and spot audits.
• Ensure ESH compliance in maintenance, storage, and transport operations; perform/lead HIRA, implement controls, and drive zero-incident culture through audits, near-miss management, and CAPA closure.
• Define and enforce fire prevention and emergency preparedness requirements for machinery warehouses (segregation, housekeeping, ignition source control, inspection routines, drills where applicable).
• Oversee calibration and performance validation of precision systems (e.g., Precision Planting, yield monitoring, guidance) and coordinate vendor support and configuration control.
• Execute and govern SAP PM/MM processes: notifications, work orders, preventive plans, confirmations, service entry, parts consumption, vendor services, and accurate asset location/movement history.
• Maintain traceable technical documentation (SOPs, checklists, transport records, risk assessments, audit logs) and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Monitor performance via reliability KPIs (availability, downtime, repeat failures, MTTR/MTBF where applicable) and deliver structured root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements to reduce regional performance variability, optimize cost, and increase reliability (TCO mindset).
• Consolidate and manage regional maintenance/logistics budgets; support CapEx/OpEx planning, quotations, and business cases with risk/ROI justification.
• Build capability of local teams and contractors via training/coaching on standards, storage readiness, safe transport, and ESH compliance; manage supplier performance through formal reviews.
• Can stop work / stop transport immediately when safety, compliance, or load-securing standards are not met (“Stop Work Authority”).
• Approves/defines regional technical standards (SOPs, checklists, acceptance criteria) and mandates corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Recommends and technically approves vendor/service provider selection (maintenance, pest control, logistics) in alignment with Procurement policies.
• Approves technical acceptance of critical repairs, overhauls, storage readiness, and transport securing quality before release to operation.
• Owns maintenance master data governance inputs (failure codes, task lists, PM plans) and asset/location governance rules in SAP (within role authorization).
• Accountable for adherence to company ESH requirements and local legal obligations related to workshops, warehouses, and heavy equipment transportation.
• Ensures contractor compliance (insurance, certifications, ESH induction, method statements where required) and documents verification.
• Ensures audit readiness for asset movements, maintenance history, storage readiness, security controls, and risk assessments.

WHO YOU ARE

• BSc in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related.
• 3–5 years in fleet maintenance/field equipment operations; logistics/warehouse governance preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Excellent command of MS Office programs.
• Experience in team and supplier management.
• Result-oriented, powerful skill in monitoring, presentation and reporting.
• Organized way of working and developed practical way of behaving.
• Developed communication, coordination skills, tendency to teamwork, powerful skill of communication and relationship management.
• Frequent travel; flexibility during seasonal peaks and critical breakdown windows.
