Field Service Technician

About the Opportunity

Risen Bits LLC is seeking skilled and reliable IT Field Service Technicians to join our expanding network of professionals across the U.S.

As a contractor with Risen Bits, you’ll provide on-site IT support for business clients — performing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other technical services.

This role is ideal for self-motivated technicians who enjoy travel, problem-solving, and working independently.
All travel-related expenses (flights, hotels, car rentals, gas, tolls, parking, and meals) are covered when proper documentation and instructions are followed.

What You’ll Do

• Perform on-site IT service calls, including hardware replacement, software configuration, network setup, and troubleshooting.
• Provide support for desktops, laptops, routers, printers, POS systems, and other IT infrastructure.
• Communicate real-time updates through the client’s ticketing or messaging system (ETA, progress notes, completion status).
• Maintain detailed records of each service visit and ensure timely reporting.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to manage daily schedules and meet client expectations.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekend work).
• Full-time availability preferred.
• Expected travel: up to 100% depending on project needs (1 month on-site, 1 week off rotation).

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT support, field services, or computer repair.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and general hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and professional.
