FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repairs and installations for homeowners, as outlined in the scope of work. This includes but is not limited to roofing, gutters, siding, windows, and doors. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and an excellent problem solver who thrives in diverse work environments.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform necessary repairs and installations for homeowners based on the agreed-upon scope of work.
  • Handle projects involving roofing, gutters, siding, windows, doors, and related tasks.
  • Estimate materials and labor required for completing projects accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners before, during, and after project completion to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop production and installation plans, reviewing them thoroughly with customers.
  • Prepare and collect all required documentation upon project completion.
  • Identify additional repair needs (e.g., gutters, windows, roofs, siding) and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation, including written reports, photos, and videos, using tools like Company Cam.
  • Collaborate with the production team and Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and standards.
  • Respond to all forms of communication (e.g., emails, calls) within 24 hours.
  • Complete all necessary tasks and input accurate data into the company’s CRM (Salesforce).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of residential or commercial experience as a Field Service Technician specializing in roofing, siding, gutters, windows, or similar fields.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working at heights and on different roof pitches.
  • Proficient in installation techniques for roofing, siding, gutters, and other related tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in different work environments.
  • Knowledge of basic tools and proper usage.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools, including Salesforce.

  • Clear and professional communicator with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. Listens actively and responds thoughtfully to questions or concerns.
  • Presents a professional demeanor, dependable, and punctual. Completes tasks on time and responds promptly to management direction.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
