Fin Coord & Exec Asst - VP/CFO - FT - Days

Hours: 8AM - 5PM, Weekdays

JOB SUMMARY
Provides administrative support to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, and occasionally to Directors within the CFO org chart. Performs a wide range of complex functions including Word tables, Excel, personal computer use, record keeping, calculations, compilation, preparation and distribution of periodical reports. Performs a multitude of office procedures in support of executive leadership and the Financial Services department.

Mental capability to follow written and verbal instruction, use independent judgement and maintain work flow with minimal supervision, and to communicate effectively at all levels. High tolerance for stress and ability to deal with constant task interruptions and to prioritize directives of numerous management and supervisory personnel within the organization and Financial Services department. Heavy amount of computer work.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate with advanced secretarial training required, undergraduate college degree preferred.
Licensure: N/A
Experience: A minimum of four years of work experience, preferably in the business or health care environment for an executive.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, personal computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and related functions. Administrative skills necessary to prioritize work load with minimal direction and coordinate the completion of financial reports and slide presentations. Highly motivated mature individual with a strong sense of dedication and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, perform basic financial analyses, juggle multiple priorities with excellent follow through and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical office environment subject to frequent interruptions and heavy work volume with certain deadline requirements. Assigned work area and auxiliary work areas well organized for easy accessibility. Moderate amounts of physical activity including stooping, lifting and walking. Minimal physical effort required to operate office equipment. Requires mobility for frequent pickup and delivery of information and documents between offices, departments, mailroom, etc.
