Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial management of GS Chess Group in Doha. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with strong leadership skills, expertise in corporate finance, and the ability to drive strategic decision-making. You will oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management, ensuring the company’s financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to guide strategic business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners.
• Lead and mentor finance teams, fostering professional growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
• 12+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Proven track record of managing complex financial operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
