Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Accounting

Manage daily financial transactions, including vouchers, payments, and journal entries.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of expenses, revenues, and cost allocations in line with accounting standards.

Maintain site-level general ledger and reconcile accounts periodically.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Budgeting & Cost Control

Assist in preparing annual site budgets and forecasts in coordination with the Site Finance Manager.

Monitor actual spending against budgets, analyze variances, and report findings.

Implement cost control measures to improve site financial efficiency.
-
Track production costs, overheads, and operational expenses for accuracy and accountability.
Inventory & Fixed Assets

Monitor and reconcile stock movements (seeds, raw materials, etc).

Conduct regular physical stock verification and ensure accuracy with ERP records.

Maintain fixed asset register and support capitalization or disposal processes.
Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Support internal and external audit activities by preparing required documentation.
-
Comply with statutory requirements such as taxation, invoicing, and withholding obligations.
Reporting & Analysis

Prepare site-level financial reports and dashboards for management review.

Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making for operations, procurement, and production teams.

Highlight financial risks and opportunities to the Site Finance Manager proactively.
Education & Experience
-
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. (Partly qualified ACCA/ACMA/CA inter or MBA Finance preferred.)

Experience:
2–4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
