Finance Manager

Industry: Importer and exporter for fresh fruit and vegetables.

Location: El Sheikh Zayed, Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure proper workflow.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and entries.
• Monitor and validate daily data entries in the accounting software.
• Oversee collections and payments to ensure sufficient cash flow for daily station operations.
• Analyze financial risks related to exchange rate fluctuations, transportation costs, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with banks, shipping companies, insurance providers, and suppliers to secure optimal financial terms.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, customs regulations, and government policies related to the export of agricultural products.
• Oversee financial accounting systems and work on their continuous development.
• Provide financial analyses to support senior management in making investment and business expansion decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional certification such as CPA , CMA , or ACCA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in financial management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role .
• Experience in import/export operations , preferably in agriculture or fresh produce .
• Familiarity with international trade finance and currency exchange mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) .
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
• Ability to manage cash flow , budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Solid understanding of logistics costs , foreign exchange risk , and insurance policies .
