Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for projects and overall business operations.
  • Implement strong cost control measures, monitoring project costs against budgets.
  • Manage cash flow, receivables, and payables to ensure financial stability.
  • Handle contract financial management, including progress billings, retention, variations, and claims.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Procurement teams to align financial planning with project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders for financial matters.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial planning, investment, and risk management.
  • Lead and develop the finance team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in construction or landscape industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and cost control.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations, VAT, and taxation laws in UAE
