Position Overview

We are seeking a Finance Manager with 8 years of experience (minimum 3–5 years in a

leadership role), ideally within the logistics or export-import sector. This role demands a deep understanding of finance operations, team management, and compliance with Indian financial and taxation regulations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Core Financial Operations:

a) Handle INR vendor payments, client settlements, and reconciliation.

b) Ensure accurate and timely job-wise financial closing, collaborating with

operations for seamless execution.

c) Monitor and ensure timely closing of all operational jobs in coordination with

operations and accounts teams to maintain financial hygiene and reporting

accuracy.

d) Conduct monthly audits of job-wise financials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and

profitability tracking.

2. Taxation & Compliance:

e) Oversee timely and accurate GST return filing in accordance with statutory

requirements.

f) Prepare and review TDS payment sheets and ensure timely payments & returns.

g) Coordinate with CA firms, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.

3. Team Oversight & Leadership:

h) Lead and manage the finance team, including oversight of bank entry personnel.

i) Monitor and analyze income and expense statements to identify cost-saving and

revenue-maximizing opportunities.

j) Ensure all accounting activities are in line with internal policies and regulatory

standards.

4. Financial Reporting & Control:

k) Prepare and present detailed financial reports and insights to senior

management.

l) Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company

assets.

m) Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes to enhance

efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or similar qualification.

• Experience: 8 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial

role.

• Industry Background: Logistics / Shipping / Freight Forwarding / Export-Import

background preferred.

• Proactive and adaptable, with a drive for continuous improvement and operational

excellence.

• Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, banking processes, and logistics-specific financial

workflows.

• Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.

• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
