Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for all academic centers, programs, and tutoring operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear insights into revenue trends, costs, and profit gaps.
- Analyze and provide cost and revenue insights across different programs, departments, and service lines (e.g., online, home, and center-based tutoring).
- Advise management on cost control measures, expense optimization, and sustainable financial planning.
- Develop, review, and modify incentive structures for tutors and staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and budget limits.
- Plan and allocate budgets for each department, including academic, operations, marketing, and HR.
- Forecast and manage financial allocations for future hires, ensuring readiness for growth and scalability.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, tuition fee tracking, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide fixed asset management advice, including tracking, depreciation, and replacement schedules for educational resources and center infrastructure.
- Offer insights on employee cost analysis, including tutor compensation, incentives, and benefits impact on overall budgets.
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and ensure adherence to Qatar’s financial and taxation regulations.
- Provide data-driven financial guidance to management on pricing strategy, resource utilization, and profitability improvements.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to align financial plans with institutional objectives.
- Lead, train, and mentor the finance and accounting team to maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the education or service industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong command of accounting software.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with a strategic approach to financial planning.
