Finance Manager

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax laws.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Develop internal controls, policies, and procedures to improve financial operations and reduce risk.
  • Support strategic business decisions by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
