Roles and Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax laws.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Develop internal controls, policies, and procedures to improve financial operations and reduce risk.
- Support strategic business decisions by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in English.
