Insignia are currently recruiting a Finance Manager to support the Finance and Treasury department in our Dubai office. The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for providing all support and analysis for this office. Additionally, this role will be required to provide business analytics, modelling and effective support for the leadership team and delivery of all financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Assist in financial management, planning and analysis and control in driving Insignia’s strategic direction and initiatives including:

• Deal with existing banks and all transactions on these accounts.
• Assist in opening all bank accounts.
• Deal with and manage compliance requests on all established accounts.
• Responsible for the completion of VAT returns.
• To manage the company's outsourcing accounting and audit firms, to supervise correctness of provided reports and to monitor timely submission of financial statements.
• Deliver financial modelling to support new initiatives and projects.
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Responsible for the budget for the entire Dubai office.
• Liaising with cost area teams to ensure efficient and coordinated processes for submissions, consolidations, and reviews.

Professional Requirements:

The ideal candidate has had experience in a Finance Business Partnering within Group level, Holding or other type of privately held company. They are commercially aware with the ability to influence senior management teams. They have strong analytical skills and have worked in a fast-paced high-pressured environment.

• 5 years of proven experience within a similar role.
• Proven track record of delivery of a finance management and technical accounting strategy in a financial services environment.
• Experience in working with local banks and compliance.
• Strong financial, planning and analysis and operational background including excellent analytical and risk awareness.
• Full accountancy qualification either ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Degree level education in finance management.
• Knowledge of financial software packages.
• English language: fluent oral and written - Arabic is a plus.
