FINANCE MANAGER

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations with strong involvement in audits, cost control, and departmental expense governance. The role requires taking full command over budgeting, monitoring, and approving expenses across all departments while ensuring compliance, transparency, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities Audit & Compliance (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audits for all group companies
  • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
  • Act as the single point of contact for auditors
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations, statutory filings, and company policies

Expense Control & Departmental Oversight

  • Take full command over all departmental expenses
  • Review, control, and approve budgets for each department
  • Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual expenditure vs approved budgets
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings
  • Set expense approval limits and enforce financial discipline across departments
  • Analyze deviations and report directly to management

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and banking operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial closing every month
  • Support management in financial planning and strategic decisions

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Coordinate with department heads for realistic budget planning
  • Track performance and revise forecasts when required

Team & Process Management

  • Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team
  • Establish strong financial processes, controls, and SOPs
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping across all finance functions

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
  • Professional qualification such as CA / CMA / ACCA (preferred)
  • 5–7 years of experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior role
  • Strong hands-on experience in audit handling and expense control
  • Experience managing finance for multi-branch or multi-business operations
  • Knowledge of VAT and local compliance regulations (Oman/GCC preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO600.000 - RO700.000 per month
