The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities

Manage banking relationships to ensure deposits are processed promptly and discrepancies are resolved efficiently.

Handle the documentation requirements of the Egypt banking sector, ensuring all processes are completed on time.

Negotiate terms for installment plans, marketing support, and bank guarantees to drive financial optimization.

Oversee payments and cash flow to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Manage stock and asset insurance policies, including renewals, claims processing, and premium payments.

Evaluate existing insurance coverage to ensure it meets the company’s needs and mitigates potential risks effectively.

Prepare and file accurate tax returns, manage tax audits, and stay updated on regulatory changes to avoid penalties.

Maintain compliance with all legal requirements to protect the company’s financial and operational integrity.

Oversee payment processes for local and international vendors while ensuring adherence to agreed terms.

Negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes to maintain strong vendor relationships.

Ensure compliance with Egypt labor laws and regulatory frameworks in all vendor-related activities.

Implement controls for proper issuance of purchase orders and eliminate informal commitments.

Finalization of Books on a monthly and yearly basis along with the offshore team and liaise with statutory auditors,

Use in-depth knowledge of the Egypt market, culture, and regulations to facilitate smooth communication with the Head Office.

Provide immediate support for urgent matters, including audits, tax inquiries, and inspections.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and commercial inputs.

Support strategic decision-making and contribute to the company’s growth and expansion plans.

Ensure proper internal controls and highlight lapses in time for resolution/improvement.
Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in financial roles, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the retail sector

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred).

Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in managing vendor payments, resolving disputes, and maintaining financial controls.

Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
