As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support the successful delivery of complex contracting and façade projects.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, project profitability, cash flow optimization, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the contracting, construction, façade, aluminum, glazing, or engineering industry and possess deep expertise in project-based accounting and financial management.

This role plays a critical part in supporting executive decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and driving sustainable business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and UAE financial regulations.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Project Accounting & Cost Control

• Oversee project accounting activities across multiple ongoing projects.
• Monitor project budgets, cost allocation, profitability, and margin performance.
• Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting and project revenue recognition.
• Review progress billings, retention accounting, variation orders, and subcontractor payments.
• Partner with project managers to improve cost control and financial performance.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Prepare financial models and feasibility studies for new projects and investments.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support management with strategic planning and financial decision-making.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor company cash flow and liquidity requirements.
• Manage receivables, payables, and working capital to maintain healthy cash positions.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to improve collection cycles.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding plans for project execution.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and facilitate internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability.
• Promote continuous improvement and professional development.
• Foster collaboration across finance, operations, procurement, and project teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, CMA, or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 15–20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or equivalent leadership role.
• Mandatory experience in contracting, construction, façade, aluminum, glazing, or engineering industries.
