Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, posting system entries, performing bank reconciliations, supporting daily financial operations, and assisting in monthly financial closings.


Key Responsibilities:

Record accurate and timely financial entries in core banking and accounting systems.

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with partner banks for settlements and transaction alignment.

Assist in monthly closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Support day-to-day finance operations—payments, cash flow, and documentation.

Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Contribute to process improvements and automation within the finance function.


Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or microfinance.

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
