Finance Officer

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting management with financial planning and analysis. This role plays a key part in budgeting, accounting, and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, and statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Process payroll, invoices, and expense claims in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
  • Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial activities
  • Support management in financial planning and decision-making

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer, Accountant, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
