We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. You should be capable to responsibilities related to both accounting.

Job Description

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Company's finance department and related companies, including:

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • General ledger entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end and year-end closings

2. Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

3. Reports: Process invoices, payments and expense reports for the Company and related entities.

4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, regulations and tax requirements for the Company and its affiliated companies.

5. Audit Support: Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations for all relevant entities.

6. Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physically and electronically, in accordance with UAE requirements.

7. Tax preparation: Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents in compliance with relevant regulations.

8. Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Accounting Skills: Proficient in accounting software and financial management. Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards. Familiarity with UAE tax regulations, including VAT.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both accounting and reception tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records
  • Passion and desire to get things done.
  • Openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Spirit of teamwork
