The Position
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
The role involves working closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Manager to deliver timely and accurate reporting packages for initial review and analysis. This includes preparing financial statements, revenue and variance analyses to accelerate understanding, identify potential issues early, and enable faster, informed decision-making. The Financial Analyst will also perform ad hoc financial analyses and support audit-related activities as required.
Our ideal candidate holds an accounting or finance degree and is familiar with Microsoft Dynamics (GP) or similar ERP/accounting systems.
Ultimately, the role is responsible for supporting the finance function through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and reliable data that underpins the company’s day-to-day operations and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports, including revenue, cost, OPEX, and variance analysis, supported clear management commentary to enable informed decision-making.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, model updates, and variance explanations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations and analytical reviews.
  • Perform financial analyses to support business initiatives, leadership requests, and ad hoc decision-making.
  • Assist with audit-related activities, including data preparation, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Maintain and continuously improve financial models, reports, and documentation.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with the ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into clear, actionable outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements :
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Finalist / Qualified Professional Accountant or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, using excel VLOOKUP and pivot tables in data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with GP an asset
