Job Title: Trainee Cost Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Trainee Cost Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, analyzing financial data related to manufacturing costs, preparing reports, and recommending ways to reduce and control costs. This role is critical in helping the company understand and optimize its financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard cost accounting systems.
• Prepare & maintain record of invoices on monthly basis.
• Monthly evaluate costing from ERP System & collect data from departments & compile reports for management review.
• Analyze production costs and identify trends, inefficiencies, or variances.
• Prepare cost reports, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments for cost analysis and financial planning.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
• Proven experience as a cost accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (ERP experience preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel analytical reporting.

Location: Super Highway Karachi

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
