Overview
The Financial Analyst works closely with our Producers to create custom executive benefit plans to meet specific goals of the organization and client needs. This role will ideally be hybrid, based out of our Charlotte office 2-3 days per week. For the right individual, we’re open to a fully remote work arrangement.
How you'll make an impact-
Work closely with Producers on plan design and funding options for potential clients
- Produce accurate and timely analyses and reports that meet various team members’ requests, needs and expectations, with the ultimate goal of the approval and implementation of proposed benefit plans and/or investment vehicles.
- Provide analysis, reporting, new business and ongoing administration support for asset management and insurance services provided by the company
- Provide input on team systems and approaches to ways to improve efficiency or changes needed to accommodate project needs, as applicable

Stay current on changes impacting analyses (e.g. insurance carrier crediting rates, AFR rates, IRS limits) and understand effect of changes on results

Runs benefit and insurance projections based on a prospect’s needs.

Works independently once parameters of project are understood.

Completes projects in a timely and accurate manner.

Facilitates benefit and insurance implementation once project receives approval

Assists Client Service Managers with re-projections for existing clients.

Keeps abreast of new products and designs as business environment evolves.

Participate in client/vendor meetings as requested
About You-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.

Knowledge of executive benefits and/or life insurance is preferred

Strong technical aptitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Currently has or is interested in obtaining in depth knowledge and understanding of executive benefit arrangements, including various benefit plan structures such as 457(f), 457(b), executive bonus and collateral assignment split dollar and available funding options such as life insurance, annuities and investment securities
- Very strong Excel skills, including ability to work with and understand formulas, calculations and financial functions (IRR, NPV, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, reading comprehension and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, to work independently in a fast paced work environment and to meet objectives without supervision
- Self-motivated to take initiative to expand knowledge and understanding

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
